About Arithmo - Online Bookkeeping Software
Arithmo is a quick, simple online bookkeeping software that any business can use.
We recognised that there was a significant gap in how business people were keeping business records. We saw that the methods used started with basic handwritten books, progressed through simple computer spreadsheets and then onto software, such as Sage or Quickbooks.
All these methods work to a certain extent, and they can be ideal. Both pieces of software mentioned are exceptionally good at what they do but for many people they simply do too much and seem daunting to use. This showed us that there was a huge 'leap' from spreadsheets to those sophisticated systems.
What we set out to achieve with Arithmo was create a solution to the problem that was not only simple to use, but incorporated many of the benefits of the more complex packages. We believe we have done that.
However, we did not want to leave businesses 'stuck' when they grew. By its very nature, a simple system could become limiting to an expanding business. To solve this, we have included a whole range of features that would normally be found in the high end systems (such as Audit Trails, VAT reports, Balance Sheets etc). They are available to all users, but do not detract from the ease of use that we were aiming for.
What's more, by bringing Arithmo online we have been able to take advantages of all the benefits that brings. These include instant software updates, no installation, security of data and the ability to access records from any computer, anywhere, at any time.
